PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 17, 2011 - Pasadena, CA – Hitflics.com and Action On Film will team together in further promoting filmmakers and celebrities who were in attendance at July's highly se cadillac lective Action On Film International Film Festival in Pasadena, California. "We are very excited for all our filmmakers to have the chance to further market themselves and their films by way of the Hitflics.com website. This collaboration will allow the talented filmmakers to screen, distribute, and market their material, which will undoubtedly lead to their success in sales and distribution deals. We could not be more excited for our team of filmmakers," says festival creator and director, Del Weston.
Throughout the festival's nine-day run July 22-30, more than 500 short and feature films were screened at Pasadena's Regency Academy Theater and Arclight Theater. Notable attendees include actors John Savage, Harry Lennix, Michael D chrysler es Barres, Kim Coates, Richard Norton, and animator Bill Plympton. More than 300 interviews were conducted during the nine days of the festival.
Hitflics.com founder and creator, Pamela Gabriel, says, "The filmmakers' vision is our quest. Our robust platform offers filmmakers the opportunity to network amongst one another through our state-of-the-art chat system, private screening rooms, and our upcoming filmmaker suites that will include concierge services."
The filmmaker and celebrity interviews will be uploaded to the Hitflics website in coming weeks.
